What Freshprinceofberlin came to me with.
He was looking for an editor who could occasionally edit YouTube videos, vlogs, and Q&As on an as-needed basis, with a focus purely on editing and an emphasis on reliability and cost-effectiveness.
What i came up with.
I have edited a few 10 minute YouTube videos for him, which were published directly after one or two rounds of revisions.
The Challenge
The challenge was to turn raw footage recorded on an Iphone into a coherent, entertaining, and engaging YouTube video that was both funny and exciting to watch. I handled the entire postproduction process, including editing, color grading, animation, and sound design.
Technical implementation
For the editing process, I use DaVinci Resolve. I chose it because it makes the workflow particularly efficient. I can duplicate and manage several hundred timelines within a single project and continuously adapt them as needed, while keeping render times manageable.
